POPPY APPEAL 2015 : Owing to illness Tony Curd will be unable to sell Poppies at Jempson’s this year. Is there anyone in the village who would be prepared to take over as the Poppy Organiser this year? If you have some time that you could give to this very worthwhile cause please let me know on 230665 or drop a note through my door with your details. Peasmarsh always raises a lot for this annual appeal, any volunteers would be helping our soldiers both past and present.
QUIZ NIGHT : The Quiz Night will take place on Saturday October 10, 7.30pm at the Memorial hall. Entrance is £5.50 which includes a Ploughman’s Supper, bring your own drinks. If you’ve never been to one, why not come along and give it a go - we always have a lot of fun!
FILM CLUB : The next meeting of the Film Club will be on October 16 at 7.30pm and not on October 9 as previously stated. Further details can be obtained from Hilary on 230205.
AMICUS HORIZON MEETING : There will be a meeting at the Memorial hall on Wednesday October 21 from 3.30 until 6.30 where Amicus Horizon will be unveiling their new plans for the redevelopment of The Maltings including the demolition of 6 bungalows. Everyone is welcome so please go along and make your views known.
HARVEST LUNCH : There will be a special Harvest Lunch at All Saints’ church, Beckley after the Harvest Festival service on Sunday October 11. This service will start at the later time of 11am; tickets are available from Diane Marsh on 260596 or Jennifer Als on 230324.
CHURCH SERVICES : This Sunday October 4 there will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church at 10am
