Mary Hitchins, 2 The Old Hop Gardens

The opening ceremony at the refurbished Memorial hall was a great success with so many people attending that the place was full! Everyone concerned has done an impressive job; the hall looks unbelievably better and is now ready to face the future, hopefully being a true centre for the village with many varied activities and services for all.

Many groups are already running in the hall - the Monday Lunch Club, Zumba, Sing for fun; Boxercise starting in November, GP outreach services starting soon. We are also lucky to have both Brownie and Guide packs in the village; there are spaces in both groups - please call Diane on 280257 for information about Brownies and for Guides ring either Pam on 224739 or Dee on 260343.
