Peasmarsh Brownies are looking for 2 Owls, one Brown and one Snowy. The Brownies meet once a week on a Monday evening, 6.30-8pm during term time at Peasmarsh Memorial Hall. Their Brown Owl has reached Brownie leader retirement age and their assistant leader is also retiring after 30 years as a Snowy Owl but both will still be available to help out when needed. If no new leaders are found by September the group will be forced to close, leaving 18 Brownies without a pack! Training is given at District and County level; the comradeship of leaders is great and Brownie Guiding is both rewarding and fun. Go along and meet them now, get to know them and work with them until the end of term. I have helped out at our Brownie pack a few times recently and have seen the great fun and friendship the girls get from being part of this group. Their enthusiasm for playing games, singing songs, taking badges, in fact all aspects of Brownie life is a joy to see and the thought that this might have to come to an end is unthinkable! Please ring Pam, the current Brown Owl on 01797 224739 for details on how you can help. Thank you.
The Peasmarsh Flying Start baby and toddler group is held at the Peasmarsh Memorial Hall every Thursday morning (during term time) from 9.30am-11.30am and costs £2 per family, all welcome.
The Flying Start Pre-school is housed in a purpose built building at Peasmarsh School. The Pre School is open term time only from 9am until 3.30pm. Please ring 01797 230325 and choose option 3 if you would like more information.
The service at Peasmarsh church this Sunday will be Holy Eucharist at 3.30pm; both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church.
