She exceeded her original target to raise £179 for NHS charities and people are still able to contribute to the appeal.

Sabrina explained: “I’ve decided to do this fundraiser because the NHS saved my life on December 23 2013 when I was critically ill with Bacterial Meningitis.

“I was not expected to survive. However, with emergency surgery and being attached to anti-biotic pumps for seven hours a day and 5-6 weeks of intensive nursing care, I walked out of that hospital to return home.

“The NHS saved my life and I thought it was now it’s time to thank them properly and help to raise vital funds in their desperate time of need.

“I also suffer from a rare Neurological Condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH). Unfortunately, there is no cure just on-going management with medication and surgeries.

“I have spent many days and weeks in hospital under the care of some incredible nurses and doctors.

“The NHS has been there for us, now we need to be there for the NHS, so please give what you can for this amazing cause.”
