“The staff are dedicated professionals and the quality of the rooms and the communal areas, such as the lounge and dining rooms, is extremely high.

“It is good to know that our town continues to be able to offer high quality seafront accommodation for some of the most vulnerable people.”

Ashley Place opened in 2015, with residents moving from Ashley House in Aldwick Road.

The residents are aged between 18 and early 70s.

The home supports people with a range of conditions, including: those with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and people with learning difficulties.
