"I wanted to create something that would challenge me and encompass everything that Captain Tom Stands for and the words " Best of British" stood out."

Nick, who is based in Durrington, decided to create a backdrop of the Union Jack flag. It took him four hours to create, and he added it really put his balloon modelling skills to the test.

Captain Tom turned 100 on April 30, he walked laps of his garden and raised more then £30,000,000 for NHS Charities Together.

Circus performer Nick also has plans for VE Day he will be walking round the area on nine-foot stilt wearing a military costume to pay tribute to the country's war heroes.

He said: "The costume is authentic uniform and the trouser material have been made by a film costume designer in London that made the uniforms for the film 1917, I also have brand new massive shiny boots to go on the end of my stilts. So the uniform is to a very high standard."
