How many people have received the Covid-19 vaccine in each area of Hastings

The Covid-19 vaccination programme in Hastings has seen almost 30,000 people receive their first dose.

Official figures from NHS England reveal how many people have been vaccinated in areas across the country.

In Hastings, 28,864 people have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine up to March 4, 2021 – the latest available figures.

According to the data, 15,700 people aged 65 – 85 per cent of people in that age group – had received their first dose of the vaccine by March 4. Another 13,164 people aged 16 to 64 have received their first jabs, according to the data.

Here we reveal how many people aged 16 and above have received their first dose of the vaccine in each area of Hastings.

Certain areas of Hastings have reported higher uptakes of the vaccine so far, which may be due to the average age of people living in that neighbourhood. An area with a higher percentage of people over the age of 70, for example, would be expected to report a higher uptake at this stage given all over 70s have been offered at least their first jab. The same goes for areas with a higher percentage of people who are clinically extremely vulnerable – another group of people who have all been offered their first vaccine dose.

Areas with a higher percentage of people under the age of 65 would be expected to report a lower uptake of the vaccine at this stage.

According to the data, 15,700 people aged 65 – 85 per cent of people in that age group – had received their first dose of the vaccine by March 4. Another 13,164 people aged 16 to 64 have received their first jabs, according to the data.
