This was the scene in Cowfold today following a serious collision between two vehicles.
Emergency crews including police, ambulance and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance were at the scene at the junction of the A272 and A281 at Cowfold.
Police say that the A272 between Buckbarn and the A281 at Cowfold remains closed.
