Seaford Head students celebrate ‘exceptional’ GCSE results

The school in Arundel Road said excellent results were achieved on Thursday (August 20) across the year group.
Headteacher Bob Ellis said, “I know our students feel frustrated that they did not have the opportunity to show their understanding in an exam setting but the grades they received are the result of 11 years of sustained effort and are fully deserved.

Hide Ad“They can feel so proud of how they have managed the challenge of lockdown and they have been fantastically well supported by our amazing staff.
“All members of our community can also reflect on the kindness and support that they have given to each other throughout this challenging period.
“It makes me feel privileged to be part of this school community.”

Hide AdStar pupils included Josie Baker, Trung Francis, Ruby Male and Jonathan Rollings who secured grades 8 and 9s across the board.
In terms of outstanding progress, Joseph Callard, Alexandra Trill, Keira White and Kate Middleton achieved the most progress since joining the school at the start of Year 7.
