Tree of Hope sculpture unveiled in Bexhill as memorial to local people who died during pandemic

A new sculpture called The Tree of Hope has appeared on Bexhill seafront as a memorial to local people who lost their lives during the Covid pandemic.

It was officially unveiled on Good Friday by Bexhill Mayor Councillor Lynn Langlands, along with Councillor Brian Drayson the Chair of Rother District Council The metal sculpture, designed by The Mayor’s husband, Jim, and created to full size with the help of friends and various local businesses, now stands in the garden next to the War Memorial on the seafront.
