This week a Bexhill woman who was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer just days after her 50th birthday is raising awareness of a petition which calls for free dental care for cancer patients.

Tourism chiefs and Bexhill and Battle MP Huw Merriman also welcomed a tourism minister to the town.

And in other news in today’s Observer, Bexhill’s hospitality sector is struggling to fill vacancies as it faces an ‘employment crisis’ and continuing uncertainty.

Schools across the area have also been forced to close, partially shut or send year groups home due to a number of Covid-19 cases this week.
