West Sussex Fire and Rescue service says⚠ the person is trapped in mud at Stakers Lane.
A crew from Horsham and the fire service’s technical rescue unit are on the scene.
Firefighters say it is one of ‘multiple incidents’ currently being dealt with across the county.
