Church Services on Sunday September 15 – Book of Common Prayer, Holy Communion, St Nicholas, Pett Level at 8am with Kay Burnett. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.
On Monday September 16 in Pett Methodist Chapel, the Village Choir will meet at 7:30pm.
POPP on Tuesday September 17 will provide its own entertainment. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
Also on Tuesday September 17 Pett Parish Council will meet in Pett Village Hall at 7:30pm.
The Mobile Library will be in Pett and Pett Level on Wednesday September 18. It will start at the Church at 10.10am, moving on to Chick Hill at 10:50am and finishing at The Smuggler at 11.20am.
On Friday September 20, the speaker at the Pett W.I. meeting will be Tony Wynne from Venus Glass Art. The company is based in Sedlescombe and its passion is to create unique pieces of glass art. In their studio they make all types of glass art using stained glass and fused glass in their large kiln. It should be a very interesting talk! Everyone is welcome at the Village hall at 2:30pm and the talk will be followed by a delicious tea.
Also on Friday September 20 Pett Naturalist Society, affectionately known as Pett Nats, makes its welcome return with its first meeting of the new season. Meetings start at 7:30 pm at Pett Village Hall and are always finished by 9:15pm. Annual membership is £5 per year and 50p per meeting, with visitors paying £2 per meeting.
The first speaker in a season of wide ranging topics will be Melvyn Smith who will talk about the New Forest and its wildlife.
