Photographic Exhibition: The Pett Level Preservation Trust’s Photographic Exhibition, featuring entries from their recent competition will be held at the New Beach Club, Pett Level on Saturday and Sunday, August 9 and 10. The theme is ‘Time and Tide’.

Church Services: on Sunday August 10 – Morning Worship, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am led by Merial Deasy. There will also be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Village Choir: On Monday August 11 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: POPP on Tuesday August 12 will feature Keith Osborne with Music for Health. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Pett Gardening Club: On August 12 members will be visiting – but in the village! They will be going to see the allotments and some other gardens.

Pett WI: As this is the August meeting, members always go out for afternoon tea! This year they will be visiting Rye Harbour on Friday August 15 and, weather permitting, will enjoy a short tour of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve before sitting down to tea. Members should meet in the Pett Village Hall car park at 2:30pm unless otherwise advised.

Pett Level Rescue Boat: The annual Open Day is being held on Saturday August 24. It will start at noon with the official opening of the refurbished Boat House. In addition to the usual variety of stalls and games, there will also be a Fun Dog Show starting at 2:30pm.
