Village Hall Quiz: There was a good turnout at the Village Hall Quiz on Saturday March 28 and more than £310 was raised for hall funds.
Big Easter Art Show: Don’t forget the Art Exhibition at Pett Village Hall. The event runs from Friday April 3 to Monday April 6 from 10am to 5pm and funds raised will go to St Michael’s Hospice.
Church Services: On Sunday April 5 – Easter Sunday - Holy Communion, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am, Kay Burnett and Merial Deasy. The Methodist Chapel will be open bright and early on Easter Sunday morning from 9am for the traditional Easter morning cooked breakfast and informal Communion before the main service at 10:45am.
Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday April 7 POPP will feature an Easter Singalong with Brian Howard and Sheryl Tucker, the Nail Technician, will also be there. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
Mobile Library: The next visit will be on Tuesday April 7 when it will stop outside Pett Church from 12:05pm until 12:35pm.
Pett Post Office: On Thursday April 9 there will be a Post Office Opening Event. Please go along to Pett Methodist Chapel from 1:30pm onwards and not only enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake but also meet Suru, our new Post Master.
New Beach Club: The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday April 12 at 10:30am. The meeting is open to all current members and memberships will be checked. The Club will be open from 10am and members are asked to arrive in good time.
Parish Council Elections: Well we know that the General Election campaign is underway but did you know that there will also be Rother District and Parish Council elections on the same date? Pett Parish Council has 7 councillors to be elected and nomination forms are available from The Returning Officer, Rother District Council, Town hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39 3JX.
Nomination forms must be returned to The Returning Officer at the Town Hall by 4pm on Thursday 9 April and if there are more than 7 nominations, the poll will be held on May 7.
