Church Services: On Sunday December 6 – Holy Communion, Kay Burnett and Merial Deasy, Pett Church at 9:30am; Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Village Hall Management Committee: This committee will meet on Monday December 7 at 7pm at Pett Village Hall. The meeting is open to the public so please come along and give your ideas and views on the hall. This will also be a festive occasion with refreshments and everyone is welcome.

Village Choir: Also on Monday December 7 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday December 8 POPP will feature Keith Osborne with Music for Health. The session runs from 10:30am to 2pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Pett Gardening Club: Members will be holding their Christmas party at Pett Village Hall on Tuesday December 8 from 7pm.

Christmas Fair: On Saturday December 12 Friends of Pett Church will be holding their annual Christmas Fair at Pett Village Hall from 10am to 12 noon. There will be stalls, crafts, Christmas goodies, raffles and refreshments, games and much more. And if that was not enough, the Village Choir will be there singing carols!

Carols in the Barn: This will take place on Saturday December 19 at 6.30pm at Pickham Farm, Watermill Lane, Guestling. Come and join the farm animals in a proper nativity setting in the barn, sing all your favourite carols, indulge in mulled wine (or a soft drink) and mince pies in the break. This is a must for the children so bring the family along. There is no charge for entry but there will be a collection for Farm Africa at the end.
