Poem of the weekColours of Winter

A SHEET of gold across the snow,

Pink sky with orange in tow,

Silhouettes of birds against a blue sky,

Pure white clouds floating slowly by,

How green the grass had stayed the winter through,

A carpet of leaves has survived the season too,

Dark brown soil ploughed in the Fall,

A few red berries left, climbing a wall,

Nature is not quite ready yet to bring,

The bright green shoots and leaves of Spring.
