POLICE HELICOPTER UPDATE: Six arrested after boy robbed in Horsham park

Six teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was robbed in Horsham park last night (September 10), police have said.

The incident occurred at around 7pm but was not reported to police until more than two hours later.

Sussex Police officers, supported by a National Police Air Service helicopter and a dog unit, made a search of Horsham Park and surrounding areas.

Police said the boy had been kicked and slapped and had a tablet and charger taken from him.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said a 19-year-old man and three boys, two aged 15 and one 14, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and were released on bail until November 6.

Two 16-year-old girls were also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and were released on bail until November 4.
