Race for Lifeevent set toraise fundsfor charity

Alexandra Park will be a tide of pink on Sunday June 12 when the Race for Life event takes place.

The event takes place at 11am with 10k and 5k runs to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Entry is open to women over 16, girls aged six - 15 and boys aged 12 and under.

Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series where all the money raised goes to fund Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. Women of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities join together to walk, jog or run to raise money to help beat cancer.

Last yea saw more than 2,000 women taking part in Race for Life in Alexandra Park.
