St Michael’s Hospice Open Garden Season arrives in Rye next week.

Two beautiful gardens will open their gates to the public in aid of the hospice from 10.30am to 4pm on Tuesday (May 17).

Mountsfield House, Rye Hill, TN31 7NH, has a classic Georgian design, a variety of evergreen and deciduous shrubs with colourful flowerbeds and a wonderful walled garden. The Stables Mountsfield House will provide inspiration for visitors with small gardens, boasting more than 200 unusual and interesting plants.

“We are so grateful to Lord and Lady Ampthill and Cornelia and Hartmutt Steffen for opening their gardens in aid of the hospice,” said Felicity James, from St Michael’s.
