Residents near Horsham had been urged to to keep their windows and doors shut and to avoid the area after a fire broke out at a block of flats.
Last night (Thursday, March 9) West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the incident in Kensett Avenue, Southwater, at around 7.30pm - with three crews attending the scene.
At 9.19pm the fire service said three crews remained at the incident.

Hide AdA spokesperson added: “Please avoid the area. People living nearby are advised to keep windows and doors closed to stop smoke coming in.”
