Robbery attempt case goes to Crown

Dean Walker, of Park Farm Close, is alleged to have tried to rob the victim of cigarettes on November 16 last year.

Walker, 24, entered no plea to the charge when he appeared at Hastings Magistrates Court.

The case has been committed to Lewes Crown Court on June 17.

Walker was granted bail on the condition he does not enter any railway premises or travel on any train in Kent or Sussex unless to attend court or a solicitors office for a prior appointment, or unless in the company of his father.
