This evening Friday 19th April will see the return of band `Suspect` at Robertsbridge Club. Entry is free to members and just £3 for guests and non-members. This band came runners up in the Best Rock Band category of the Hastings and St. Leonard’s Music Awards.
Robertsbridge Aviation Society will be holding their Annual Coffee Morning tomorrow Saturday 20th April between 10am and 1pm. This is being held at Bush Barn, Silverhill TN32 5PA. There will be light refreshments, bric-a-brac and books for sale. The Museum will also be open. This contains a vast collection of 1st and 2nd World War exhibits, plus you can see some new exhibits after the winter refurbishment. Admission and parking is free but any donations are gratefully received to help with the upkeep of the museum. Robertsbridge Club will be holding its AGM for all paid up members on Friday 26th starting at 8pm. If you would like to see how the club is doing, what the plans are for the future, or if you would like to get involved in the running of the club by going on the Committee please make a point of going along.
Ladies darts: On Monday[22nd] Jackie Danaher we play in the Captains Cup at The White Hart, Wadhurst.
Darts: The Ladies Night was a poor turnout with only 4 singles and 3 pairs. In the singles Alice Hodges was drawn against Coral Giles and in a close game Alice lost 2-1 so Coral will play Marie Colvin in the final. Jackie Danaher/Alice won their semi-final match and played Coral/Marie in the final and again it was a close match but they lost 2-1. Tonight is the Mens Singles K.O. at The Millers Arms.
Stoolball: Training is every Thursday at the Cricket Ground @6.30p.m. We are looking to for anybody who would be interested in playing this ‘Old Sussex Game’. Don’t worry if you’ve never played before just come and enjoy our friendly club and we will teach you how to play.
