Best Wishes: Happy New Year to all our readers. We hope it is a happy healthy and prosperous one. This column is very short this week as the festivities are now over.
Food: Fed up with cooking the turkey excess, or just the cheese and chocolates, well all is back to normal now because Sarah will be back in Station Road this evening Friday 2nd January 2015, with her Fish and Chip Van.
Monthly film show: This month the film that is being shown is `Boyhood`. This is at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 7.30pm.
Jazz Club: This month the Jazz Night is on Thursday 8th January at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 8pm. Paul Eshelby will be there on the Trumpet. Tickets available at Judges or on the door.
Email ne with your news: If you have any thing for the column please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org or go in to Sandie at the Floral Boutique. There is a diary in the shop for people to put in their events for the year and to check that their event does not clash with any one else. This is to try and maximise the success of everyone’s hard work when organising something for the village.
LADIES DARTS: Our old ‘double trouble’ came back to haunt us in our away match at The White Hart last Monday. Everybody scored well but it was getting that final double that eluded us in a 10-1 defeat with only Eileen Morgan/Jackie Danaher winning. There were high scores for Steph Goldsmith[150,79], Jackie[126,81,73], Carol Apps[125,121,80,79], Alice Hodges[92,89,2 x 76] and Eileen. We are now finished until the New Year.
