Age Concern: has resumed its regular Monday meetings at Robertsbridge Hall between 10.30am – 2.15pm. Local senior residents are invited to stop in for a free cuppa from 10.30am – 11.30am. A sales stall offers a range of interesting items available for a small fee. The remainder of the day consists of Extend exercises, a hot cooked Apetito lunch, and another cuppa and finally cards or scrabble before closing. Feel free to just drop in or to spend the day, the choice is yours. The mornings volunteer that set up the tables and chairs has recently retired. Age Concern are very grateful for the help and time that he has spent over the years, but now are looking for his replacement. The time involved in this is about 30-45 minutes prior to the group starting. If you would like to help with this, and even just one Monday a month if that’s all you can offer please contact 880511 or 880524 as help is urgently needed and would be a tremendous help to the organisers.
