Easter: We hope you enjoyed your Easter break and many of you will have been in your gardens. This will be of interest to you if you have a Brown Garden Waste collection bin. It is now a year since this scheme started and if you have one the invoices for the next year will be arriving some time in May.
Robertsbridge Village Spring Clean: on Sunday 12th April it will be the Pocket Park tidy up, this is from 2pm – 4pm and is accessible from the Bridge beside the football pitch. Please if you are going to help take gloves, secateurs and loppers if you have them.
On Sunday 19th April it is the rubbish clear up in your areas. Please if you would like to take part in this and help keep your area clean there will be gloves, bags and litter pickers available from 2.30pm – 4pm down at the recreation ground. You can then take the bags of litter back to the rec.
Call for Development Sites: Salehurst and Robertsbridge Parish Council have begun work on a Neighbourhood Plan for the village. There has to be a plan for 155 dwellings from now until 2028. A Neighbour hood Plan is a process giving residents a vote on where to build as well as the kind of development. This is an invitation to land owners with land abutting or within the village boundary to come forward with sites with potential for development. Please write to the Clerk of the Parish Council, expressing your interest together with an up-to-date plan indicating your site by 30th April. This needs to be sent to the Parish Clerk, Robertsbridge Youth Centre, The Grove, George Hill, Robertsbridge. Tn325ap or email to email@example.com
If you have any information of interest to the community please contact myself on firstname.lastname@example.org or go into Sandie at the Floral Boutique with the copy. Don`t forget if you are organising an event in the Village there is a community diary to check the dates to try and prevent double bookings, this is also with Sandie.
