Robertsbridge Aviation Society: is holding its Annual Coffee morning tomorrow Saturday 18th April between 10am –1pm. Light refreshments will be available with free admission and parking. Books, bric-a-brac, for sale and the chance to have a look at the New exhibits for 2015 in the Museum. Donations are always well received that help with the upkeep of the museum. This is all taking place at Bush Barn just North of Robertsbridge TN32 5PA.
St Mary’s Salehurst: services this week the second after Easter is on Sunday 19th starting with Holy Communion in the Mission Room Fair Lane at 9am and then at Salehurst at 11am for Matins. Rev. Christopher Channing will be taking the services.
If you didn’t get to see the flowers in the church over Easter, you missed a treat. The lilies were beautiful and a big thank you to the flower arranging team who put in all the hard work in a short space of time. There was a `bumper` congregation for the Easter Sunday service with faces old and new. You are all welcome again very soon.
PPC AGM is on Tuesday 28th April at 7pm, if you would like to find out more about what goes on at St Marys and how it can be ensured that the doors will be kept open for many more years to come please go along.

DARTS: Alan Apps and David Fortsch managed to reach the semi-finals of the Pushpenny Singles Knockout last Friday. There were ‘goldwatches’ for David Goodsell and Alan. Tonight is the Pairs Darts Knockout at The Millers Arms 8p.m. The next very popular ‘Open Pairs Darts Knockout’ is on Sunday 3rd May 2015 at Robertsbridge Club with registration at 7.30p.m. Entrance Fee is only £1 in this ever popular fun evening.
STOOLBALL: Training is on Tuesday[20th] @ Robertsbridge College at 8.30p.m. and on Thursday[22nd] @ The Cricket Ground at 6.30p.m.
FOOTBALL: The 2nd team finished their Macron East Sussex Football League Division 6 season with a 1-0 defeat at home to F.C.Westridge in a very entertaining a close encounter. Both sides had chances in the first half but neither side made the keepers make a save. The deadlock was broken 2 minutes before the break when the visitors corner was met by their unmarked striker to head home. The second period saw The Bridge push for the equaliser and driven on by man of the match Matt Hardy it was his through ball to Dominic Whittaker that created the best chance as the opposing keeper came out only to be lobbed by Whittaker who saw his effort hit the post and bounce out for a goal kick. This defeat leaves the 2nd team in 5th place. Tomorrow the 1st team are at home to Northiam ‘75 K.O. 3p.m.
LADIES DARTS : Steph Goldsmith/ Eileen Morgan reached the semi-finals of the Pairs Darts last Monday.
ROBERTSBRIDGE CHARITY CUP: The final of the Junior Cup will be on Tuesday 28th April 2015 @ Robertsbridge Recreation Ground K.O. 6.30p.m. between Hawkhurst United and Mountfield United. Entrance Fee is Adults £2 ; Children/OAP’s £1 with all profit going to local charities. The Intermediate Final will be on Tuesday 5th May 2015 @ Robertsbridge Recreation Ground K.O. 6.30p.m. between Ninfield United/Iden and St.Leonards Social/Westfield II.
Village Spring Clean Up: is taking place this Sunday 19th April. Bags, pickers and gloves can be obtained from the Rec. at 2pm. Please help keep the village tidy.
Live Theatre: comes to Robertsbridge: on Friday April 24th at Robertsbridge Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Judges at £9.00
The Hot Coals Ensemble is staging `Storm in a Teacup`. A dazzling night of slapstick comedy and a cartoon-like piece of fun. There is no dialogue but the show includes a touch of Charlie Chaplin, clowning, music and beautifully choreographed set pieces.
The show is inspired by `Chekhov`s Three Sisters` but no previous experience of Chekhov is required. Robertsbridge Arts Partnership brings this event to the village.
Robertsbridge WI: is holding a Jumble Sale on Saturday 28th April between 10am – 12pm at Robertsbridge Hall. Jumble is needed if you are having a Spring Clean and if you would like to donate anything please contact 881105. There will be clothes, bric-a-brac, toys and cakes on offer.
