The East Sussex Disability Association would like to thank those that donated to their Street Collection that was held in Robertsbridge on Saturday 25th May when a grand total of £155.00 was raised. This evening Friday 7th June at Robertsbridge Club there is a Stand Up Comedy Night, this is a ticketed event with tickets at just £5.00

On Sunday 16th June it’s the Clubs Sunday Music Afternoon with the Two Bob Band playing between 4pm – 6pm, they play a variety of music from Retro Rock, Folk, Rock n Blues, Americana and the list goes on. There will be a BBQ and the usual array of beverages to tickle the taste buds.

On Sunday 30th June its Sunday Roast at Robertsbriodge Club with bookings being taken now on 880673.

Football: Robertsbridge United Football Club start training for the 2013/14 season on Wednesday 12th June 2013 at the Recreation Ground from 6.30p.m.

Stoolball: The Ladies away match at Icklesham and the Mixed home match against Scorpions were both victims of the wet weather last week but on Sunday the Ladies played at Pett Tournament and although we lost all five games the pick of the players was JJ Boast with 88 runs and Sarah Clark with 59 while Emma Turner took two wickets and Di Kitson took a catch. This Sunday the Ladies are at Hooe Tournament 10.30a.m. and on Tuesday 11th the Mixed are at home to Catsfield while on Thursday 13th the Mixed are away to Civil Service with both matches starting at 7p.m.

Fishing: Just 2 days to go before the season starts so make sure you have your Rother Fisheries Annual Tickets which are available at £3.25 each from Alan Apps 01580-880877. and don’t forget to get your Rod Licence either online or from the Post Office.
