Monthly Film Night: is on this evening Friday 16th March at Robertsbridge Hall opening at 7pm. The film this month is the very popular `Paddington 2`.

Robertsbridge Club: will be open tomorrow Saturday 17th March to show the Six Nations Rugby, England vs Ireland match. This will be shown on the new 120-inch screen. The bar opens at 2.30pm ready for kick off at 2.45pm. Don’t be late.

St Mary’s Salehurst: will start off this Sunday 18th March with Holy Communion at 9am in the Mission Room in Fair Lane. At 11am there will be Mattins at St Mary’s. Later in the afternoon there will be All Age Worship held at Holy Trinity in Hurst Green.

If you would like to donate an Easter Lily to decorate the church for the Easter week you still have time. Please either pick up a leaflet in the church or contact 880238.

Robertsbridge Arts Partnership: will be presenting `The Full Bronte` on Friday 23rd March. This is suitable for 12 + years and is being held Upstairs @ The Ostrich at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale for £10 from the Village Stores or Judges Bakery. You can also order them on rap.org.uk

Robertsbridge Community Association: is running a trip to see `The Poppies in Portsmouth and afternoon Port Harbour Tour. This is being held on Saturday April 28th and will cost £39.00 Coach pick up is from Robertsbridge Station at 7.30am or Hurstgreen at 7.40am.

DARTS: We played our final Knockout Cup match against Mountfield Club last week and although we won the singles darts 4-3 it was not enough to reach the final, however we did reach the final of the pushpenny winning 2-1. There were victories for Pete Giles, Dave Goodsell, Coral Giles and Luke Hardy in the darts with 100+ scorers for Luke[140, 2 x 121, 2 x 100], Pete[2 x 100], Coral[100] and Dave[100]. There were wins for Coral Giles/Guy Ballard and Dave Fortsch/Dave Goodsell in the pushpenny. Tonight we play in the final of the Pushpenny Knockout Cup against The Millers Arms at Mountfield Club 8p.m.

FOOTBALL: The Bridge 1st team played away at Macron East Sussex Football League Premier Division leaders Battle Baptists and had their chances to win the match with goals from Chris Phillips[30mins], Phil Green[35mins] and man of the match Paul Barnes[75mins] but The Bridge eventually lost 5-3. Tomorrow the 1st team are at home to Ore Athletic K.O. 3p.m. while the 2nd team are away to Division 4 side South Coast Athletico at William Parker School in the 3rd Round of the Coopers Construction Challenge Cup K.O. 2.30p.m.
