On the Olympic Theme there is to be a Sedan Chair Race with teams of 5, who will select a country they will represent and their chair for the race will be designed and built appropriately for that country. There will be events throughout the afternoon, which will be based on Olympic Sports, including cycling. All the events will have a twist to make them fun for all ages. Medals will be awarded at the end of the event.
Village organisations and the schools have been invited to set up stalls, and plans are afoot to create a display showing how Robertsbridge has celebrated the Queen in the past. There will be refreshments available throughout the day, including the very popular Pimms Tent.
