- A quick reminder that there is a Prize Bingo at Robertsbridge Hall tonight Friday 24th February raising money for the Early Births Fund. This starts at 7pm and all are welcome.

- Tomorrow Saturday 25th February, the first film this year is being presented by Robertsbridge Community Association at Robertsbridge Hall with doors opening at 7pm for the film to start at 7.30pm.

The film is Jane Eyre and is a PG. Tickets cost £4 and are available at the Floral Boutique or on the door.

- The Champagne and Roses Dinner is also tomorrow evening, being run by Robertsbridge Twinning Association. Please contact [email protected] for details and availability.

A couple of dates for next month to put in your social diary, on Saturday 10th March there will be a four piece Rock`n`Roll covers band called Suspect playing at Robertsbridge Club.

- On Wednesday 14th March the Robertsbridge WI extend a warm welcome to anyone, that being male and female, to their meeting at Robertsbridge Hall. Starting at 2.30pm with tea and home made cakes and then there will be a speaker giving a talk on `A Sussex Farm during the 1950`s` this will be a journey, for many, down memory lane.

- A last reminder that subs are due at Robertsbridge Club, the absolute deadline is Wednesday 29th February. If you have not paid by then you will no longer be a member.

- Ladies darts: We played at home against Dobbins Inn on Monday [13th] and we led 3-2 after single victories for Carol Apps, Eileen Morgan and Dawn Mitchell but the scorers were level at 4-4 after Jackie Danaher/Dawn were our only doubles winners.

We went behind losing the first trebles but then recovered with victories for Dawn/Jackie/Eileen and Carol/Dawn/Steph Goldsmith to win a very exciting match 6-5.

There were high scores for Steph [131, 86, 81], Carol [130, 81, 80], Dawn [109], Eileen [83] and Jackie [82]. On Monday [27th] we are away to The Red Lion.

- Friday darts: In the pushpenny singles knockout cup Alec Martin was the only player to progress into the semi-finals. Tonight is the Captains cup at Battle Legion while at the same venue is a fund-raising night of darts, pushpenny and pool.

- Stoolball: The A.G.M will be held on Monday 27th February 2012 at Robertsbridge Club 7.30p.m.
