Rother sends out details about new bin collection ahead of scheme roll out
The new service, which will be rolled out across the district from June 30, will require residents on fortnightly collections to put all recycling, including cardboard, into their green bin ready for the new collections, details of which will be with residents from June 16.
For some residents the time, day or week on which collections take place will change.

Hide AdResidents are reminded that all rubbish and recycling should be out for collection at 7am on their collection day.
From June 16, along with collection calendars showing any changes to their collection days, residents will receive detailed information about which containers to use.
Garden waste is now a chargeable service for which subscribing customers will have received a brown bin.
Anyone who does not have a brown bin and cannot compost garden waste will need to take it to a Household Recycling Centre.

Hide AdCouncillor Tony Ganly, portfolio holder for waste and recycling at Rother District Council, said: “The revised service will be rolled out across the district from Monday, June 30, and we want to make sure residents have all the details needed for disposing of their rubbish and recycling.
“Please look out for the information packs as this will give you vital information that you need to know.
“As well as sending information packs to every home, we have sent staff out into our towns and villages to tell people about the changes personally.
“In addition, we will be holding four information events to enable people to talk to officers and ask any questions about the changes.”
