RSPCA Christmas Fair

Calendars featuring rescued cats and dogs will be available at the RSPCA Christmas fair at St Martha's church hall on Saturday November 21.

And that's not all - available to shoppers and bargain-hunters will be an enormous range of Christmas gifts and goodies as well as handmade cards, tombola, bottle raffle, and delicious homemade cakes and nibbles.

It's a warm and social occasion as well as an important fundraiser for the local branch.

Chairman Mary Bristow said: "Please come along - we urgently need your support. There will be the usual friendly welcome so come and support us in our time of need. We do quite well in Little common - people are really good to us on the whole."

Calendars have been made up of photographs of happily rehomed cats and dogs voted for in a competition and these are already proving successful - they are available in the RSPCA shop in Western Road as well as at the Christmas fair.

The event will be held from 10-12noon on November 21 and entrance will cost 50p to include tea and coffee.
