North Ridge Medical Practice: which takes in Sandhurst, welcomes Dr Sara Butler-Gallie, as a new partner. The practice is very fortunate to have her on the team. She replaces Dr Ann Wood, who has retired after 30 years of caring for generations of families in the village.

My family will not forget Dr Wood when my brother-in-law died. The family had a card from her which told me a lot about our GP in a very busy practice.

The village football team: are into the next round of the Robertsbridge Junior Charity Cup after they beat Burwash 6 - 0.

The services: at the village Baptist Church on November 4 are 10.30am - morning worship/communion and an evening meeting at 7pm.

Remembrance Sunday: will start at the village War Memorial at 10.45am with morning worship back at the church at around 11.15am.

The Friendship Club: Christmas Lunch will take place on December 14 at the Brickwall Hotel, Sedlescombe. It is only open to members. To book, call Rosie on 01580 850433.
