The football season: has cooked off and the village club has had a good start with a 4-4 draw away to Orington, who were runners up in Division 4 last season.

North Ridge Medical Practice: that takes in the village, has sadly lost Christine Colman, who died after a brave battle with cancer.. Christine worked hard and set high standards for herself and others.

The North Ridge Medical Practice Patient Participation Group is to have guest speaker Dr Vinay Kumar Bhatia, consultant cardiologist, at a meeting on Thursday October 25, from 7pm - 9pm, at Bowles Lodge, Saints Road, Hawkhurst. All are welcome and refreshments will be available.
