Scrufts dog show is back in North Bersted

Anyone who is interested in showing off the family hound, whether it be a pedigree or Heinz 57, is welcome to go along from midday on August 30.

Well-known dog trainers Maureen and Fred Fitzgibbons will again be presiding over the judging.

The show will form part of a bank holiday special occasion at the Newtown Avenue venue. There will also be a family fun show and hog roast.

Last year's initial event proved to be the club's second most popular occasion of the past 12 months.

Dog show entries should be registered by contacting the Newtown on 01243 823930.
