Happy Easter to you all and hope that the Easter bunny is kind, if not to you, then at least for the sake of the children in the area. You will be very welcome to also visit the church over Easter, along with the services, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the flowers whilst having a cup of tea or coffee and home made cake on Sunday April 20 from 12pm until 4pm and also on Monday April 21 from 10am until 4pm.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Lent lunches also thank you to Margaret Hudson who has been running these lunches for many years now, she and the team of volunteers provide this special event for the benefit of all in the community ttghis year she reports that £480 was raised which will be shared between Farm Africa, The Addington Trust and our local Parish Church. A good result for all those involved and the charities involved.
Last weekend there was a courtyard sale at the rectory, the weather was kind and the queue formed by 9.30am, ready for the 10am opening, it seems that it does pay to advertise in the local papers! There was a steady flow of people all morning and lots of goods were cleared resulting in just over £200 for the Parish Church. Thank you to all that attended or helped in some way towards this total.
