SERIOUS ACCIDENT ON A27

A woman was seriously injured in a crash on the A27 on Sunday afternoon (September 10).

The accident happened at about 3.40pm near Middle Farm, Firle, when a Vauxhall Astra car collided with a Peugeot motorhome.

The Vauxhall driver, a 63-year-old local woman received serious injuries and was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.

The 60-year-old man driving the motorhome, from Cornwall, was uninjured.
