Alice Kenyon, from the Society, said: “This year will be quite a challenge for the entrants after our very topsy turvy weather culminating in storm Katie but we are hoping members will rise to it. There are classes for flowers and shrubs, floral art , vegetables, pot plants and cookery. A children’s section which is open to non members. There will be a tempting raffle and plants for sale as well as cups of tea.

“A reminder to members, entry forms must be submitted by 7.30pm on Thursday 7th April to the secretary Sally Rhodda, Cleveland Place, Friars Rd Winchelsea . Entries on the day must be staged between 10 am and 11.30am. We look forward to seeing you all.
