The 2018 instalment of the Superheroes collection, created in collaboration with Marvel’s fine art publisher Choice Fine Art, was unveiled at Castle Fine Art on Nile Street, The Lanes on Saturday (March 24).

Individually hand-signed by Stan Lee, each piece of artwork features ‘some of the most influential characters that have dominated society’ during Stan Lee’s rein at Marvel, including The Invincible Ironman, Wolverine and, for the first time, the satirical Deadpool.

The unveiling of the new collection follows the recent release of Marvel’s highly-anticipated Black Panther movie.

Valerie Kaye, gallery manager for Castle Fine Art, Brighton, said: “The popularity of superhero films in recent years has created a renewed interest in comic books and our Marvel prints, which have always received unprecedented interest, are now more popular than ever.

“This new release is a chance for fans to get their hands on a piece of comic history, signed by Stan Lee himself. With the addition of the Deadpool character, which is being released for the first time, we expect the prints to sell out fast, so we’d urge anyone interested to enquire at the gallery now to avoid disappointment.”

The six signed limited edition prints, available in boxed canvas and giclée on paper, start from £795.00 (giclée on paper) and £1,250 (boxed canvas).
