Just caught the first butterfly, a Red Admiral, of this early 'spring' and wonder if it may be of interest to you and your readers. Photo taken with my Panasonic Lumix FZ72 bridge camera.

The East hill, cliffs to Fairlight, some of the fishing fleet and the East Hill Lift, the steepest funicular railway in the UK.
A local fishing boat, RX389 is seen coming ashore. Hastings is home to Europes largest beach-launched fishing fleet.
What a glorious day in Hastings today. It really felt that summer was here, let alone Spring. The sands at low tide and the harbour arm in the background.
