The railway line between Horsham and Barnham is blocked, Southern Rail has said.

Southern Rail announced the incident on social media this afternoon and said there was a broken rail between the two stations.

It later added that engineers are expected on site in one hour.

All lines towards Horsham are currently blocked.

Routes expected to be affected by this evening’s disruption include trains from Portsmouth & Southsea to London Victoria, Southampton Central to London Victoria and Bognor Regis to London Victoria.
