Police reported 125 fallen trees across roads in Sussex, and had limited lorries from using parts of the A21 at Robertsbridge.

Surface water remains a problem on roads, as drains are clogged with leaves and become unable to clear water.

Rail services are still severely disrupted until at least 9am, with no trains on the South Eastern network and Southern Railway - including the Gatwick Express.

Buses are running on some routes with low buses more likely to run on a route.
