St Leonards Beach features on a new Sussex Calendar release to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House.
Pictures on the Love Sussex calendar were taken by local photographers in a competition that attracted hundreds of entries.
Other images on the calendar include Chichester Cathedral, Petworth Deer Park, Chanctonbury, Cuckmere Haven and the Doughnut sculpture on Brighton Beach.
The calendars were designed and printed by Evonprint and will be available in all ten Chestnut Tree House charity shops in Sussex including Eastbourne.
All of the money raised from the calendars will go towards helping fund the vital specialist palliative care services that Chestnut Tree House provides to 300 children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening illnesses in East Sussex, West Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Steve Rowland, Managing Director of Evonprint, commented: “We are delighted that the calendars are now available in all Chestnut Tree shops and I urge the public to visit their local store to purchase one.
“As well as raising money for this fantastic local charity, it also showcases what a beautiful county we live in and celebrates the talents within Sussex.
“We were overwhelmed by the response we received from this campaign .”
It currently costs well over £3.5m each year to provide all the care services provided by the charity.
There are potentially 1,000 families with life-limited children in Sussex. Chestnut Tree House offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support.
