Stick attacks on buses inspector

BEXHILL Police have appealed for help in tracing witnesses to two incidents earlier this month in which a bus inspector was assaulted.

At about 12.45pm on Wednesday, April 6 the Stagecoach staff member was at the bus stop in Devonshire Road,, when a woman struck him on his left arm with a walking stick as she tried to board a bus.

The inspector left the scene, but when he returned about 15 minutes later the woman again struck him with the stick, this time to the side of his body.
