Stray firework causes fire scare
A STRAY firework from the Battle Bonfire display landed on the roof of a house in the High Street.
Firefighters were called to the address at 10pm on Saturday (November 2) after the firework landed in a ridge on the roof, smashing several tiles.
The fire was out by the time crews arrived on the scene.
Minor damage was caused and no one was hurt.
