In the end, the stunning image of a spine-cheeked anemone fish earned underwater photographer Wendy Eve the top place and winning position in the competition.
The runner up was Norman Atkinson with his image titled Greater London House, which gave a view of ‘architectural interest’ of the large Art Deco building, which is based in Camden.
Third place was given to Sylvia Kislingbury for her ‘beautiful and magical’ image, titled Desert Ride, which showed a single camel with a rider wandering through an empty landscape.

As the club year draws to an end there are only the print and the digital image of the year competitions to go before the final week and the club awards evening.
The winning members all receive recognition for the work done this year and the club uses the summer to gather more material for next season.
The next season, which starts on September 10, will be the club’s 70th and will culminate in an anniversary celebration.
