The Arts in the Courtyard event, in Evans Garden, Arcade Road, will feature displays and demonstrations by artists, as well as live music.

And it will also herald July’s Littlehampton Art Week, including the Love Littlehampton Festival in the Park, and the Littlehampton Arts Trail which will wind a creative path through the town.

Musicians Jonathan Kershaw and singer-songwriter Jaime Black, from Los Angeles, will be performing throughout the day.

The Littlehampton Organisation of Contempary Art (LOCA) is organising Arts in the Courtyard and the festival and arts trail, in aid of children’s charity Raydar, and with support from Arun District and Littlehampton Town councils and the wider community.

Next month’s art week starts with the Love Littlehampton Festival in the Park, on Saturday, July 20, on Caffyn’s Field, with live music to suit all tastes on the stage, a wide range of arts activities, some specially for children, teddy bear competitions, food from different cultures and community stalls set around the field.

The Arts Trail runs from July 20-27, with 25 venues stretching from Littlehampton Marina’s Boat House Café to Mewsbrook Park, including business premises, public buildings and the seafront.
