A NEW charity, made up of a group of parents who have children with special needs, will hold another fundraising event in Battle tomorrow (Saturday).
Battle Superstar Kids organise events to raise money for local charities.
In May the group raised more than £200 for Autism Sussex at a charity table sale held in Battle Memorial Hall.
The group will return to the hall tomorrow (Saturday) for another charity sale between 11am-2pm.
This time the proceeds will go to Jack’s Dream.
Becky Gasson, founder of Battle Superstar Kids, said: “Jack’s Dream offer emotional support to families who have lost a baby or child.
“They provide financial assistance to families experiencing financial hardship for headstones, memorial plaques or an item of remembrance for up to the age of 18 years.”
There will be more than 20 tables at tomorrow’s event, which is being sponsored by the Property Cafe, Balance & Harmony Retreat and SecElec Solutions.
Darran Cohen, co-director of The Property Cafe, said: “I was delighted to be asked to contribute to such a worthwhile cause especially when so much effort has been put into organising the recent charity event.
“It has always been the aim of The Property Cafe to help raise awareness of local charities and I look forward to working with Becky in the future to assist her with her worthwhile causes.”
