Talented children take to the stage for Jigsaw funds
Ripley Court’s annual fundraising event sees pupils take to the stage to perform songs and dance routines to a very appreciative audience.
This year’s show was compered by Ant and Dec look-a-likes and featured a wide range of star turns including a group performance of ‘The Twelve Days of Ripley’, a multi-media tribute to Justin Bieber and a Year 3 pupil performing a tear-jerking rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel hit, ‘Bright Eyes’.

Organised by Ripley Court School teacher, Elin Roberts, the evening raised an incredible £2,360.
As Miss Roberts explained: “We are very proud to have been supporting Jigsaw for the past five years.
“Our pupils really enjoy visiting the school and seeing for themselves just what a difference their fundraising efforts are making.”

Hide AdJigsaw fundraising officer, Steven Morgan, said: “Ripley Court pupils are always very enthusiastic when they visit so it is always a pleasure to welcome them back.
“Today they spent time learning about how some of pupils communicate using methods other than their voices.
“They practised doing this using the Picture Exchange Communication System and Proloquo2Go on iPads.”
He went on to explain how the donation would be used: “The money will be put towards the purchase of equipment for our Café on the Park social enterprise which provides work experience opportunities to our pupils and clients.
